Approach
I’m a therapist, social scientist, mom, and an immigrant from Germany. My work is shaped by existential and liberation-oriented psychological perspectives, and by a belief that our struggles are both deeply personal and shaped by the systems we live within. I work with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, women’s mental health, grief, perinatal experiences, major transitions, and counseling for people with immigration experience. I also offer counseling in German.
Therapy, to me, is about fostering an understanding of both your inner world and the wider forces that shape it—your patterns, your history, and the conditions around you that affect your life. I help people explore who they are, uncover their values and strengths, and identify what truly matters to them. It’s about facing life’s uncertainties, including the weight of a world that feels scary and unpredictable, and learning how to live an authentic life—finding a path that is meaningful, honest, and uniquely one’s own.
Every body and every story is welcome here. My approach is warm, funny, collaborative, and grounded in care, curiosity, and respect. I draw from narrative therapy, ACT, CBT, and other practices, always attentive to both the internal and external landscapes that shape your experience.
